The Orchestra II takes a leap forward in Kiwi Ears’ tuning strategy, by encompassing a sound signature suited for all individuals and music genres. Rather than aiming for strict neutrality, the Orchestra II focuses on musical engagement and enveloping listening experience. The sub-bass kicks out impactful and deep-rumbles, and with a relaxed 300Hz shelf, the lows have plenty of thump for bass guitar and synth notes. The focal midrange has a linear response, maintaining a true-to-life sound signature with reference-like layering and imaging capabilities. The mid-treble transition is also eased, allowing a more natural and balanced vocals and stringed instruments. The treble emphasizes clarity while eliminating artificial presence and brilliance in the upper harmonics.

Transparency in Sound and Design

The Orchestra II uses our proprietary in-house transparent balanced armature woofer. Made from precision engineered clear acrylic, these oversized BA woofers let you see into the mechanism of these drivers. Moreover, the acrylic housing attributes a new textural component to the sound, reducing acoustic resonance for a tighter and thumper bass compared to typical metal-encased BA drivers.
